Coherent introduces Mantis for ultrafast laser applications
A short-pulse oscillator, Mantis is optimized for a single operating point, simplifying design and lowering cost. The first such system to use a 5 W green pump laser based on monolithic OPSL technology, Mantis generates 300 mW average power at 800 nm wavelength and has a bandwidth over 70 nm, compressible to under 20 femtoseconds.
